I trained in London and Dublin, working in the jewellery industry for over 18 years. I now work from my studio at the foot of the Cooley Mountains, creating modern but classic pieces with silver, gold, precious and semi precious stones. Inspired by my surroundings, I mould and shape the metal, contrasting textures to reflect nature’s form.Since launching my own jewellery designs in 2003 I have won several awards including 1st prize in the RDS National Craft Competition 2004 (precious metal category) and 1st prize from the Association of Goldsmiths Dublin for the same piece. In 2004 I was also awarded Craft Enterprise of the Year for Louth.
My work is available in quality outlets in Ireland, the UK and America, and I have exhibited in numerous gallery exhibitions throughout Ireland. In addition I have worked to commission for individuals, corporate clients and sporting associations. A trained diamond setter I also undertake numerous commissions for engagement rings and wedding bands.
